Welcome to Algood Middle School, home of the Redskins. Located in Putnam County, Tennessee, Algood Middle School is a 5-8 school serving the students of the Algood community and Putnam County. Due to the number of snow days we have had, the Putnam County Board of Education has voted to operate school for an extra 30 minutes for thirteen days. Beginning Monday, March 8, until Wednesday, March 24, we will begin school at 7:45 A.M. and end at 3:15 P.M.

In addition, we will attend school on Election Day, which is Tuesday, May 4.

There will be no change in LEAPs. The ending time for LEAPs will remain 5:00 P.M.

After 8:00 A.M., all of the side doors in the school building will be locked. If you wish to visit the school, please come through the front door and sign in at the office. The front door is the door visible in the banner at the top of this page. A visitor parking lot is available near the front door.
