teacher-prepared Venn diagram to compare and contrast their celebrations with
winter celebrations in other cultures.

needs to do to prepare for the lesson)
The
teacher will have already taught lessons about the customs of winter
celebrations in many different cultures.
Using

REFLECTIVE COMMENTS
(Have
you taught this learning activity before?
No. What are the great
ah
haÕs/experiences you had?)
My
students did a really great job giving reasons for where we should place each
symbol. They remembered from our
lessons the different symbols and their uses. Their final product showed how
well they followed along for this lesson.
